Gene Holland holds a bachelor's degree in sociology. He specializes in multi-cultural treatment, group treatment and parenting education. Additionally, he is certified in anger management, de-escalation, and behavior intervention, equipping him with diverse skills to support various client needs.
With over 40 years in the mental health field, Gene has worked extensively with both children and adults. His work environments have included group homes, mental health centers, and the school system. He has focused on helping children and their parents overcome behavioral challenges to foster successful and happy family units. Moreover, he has supported adults in managing daily life issues and coping with overwhelming stress.

Gene emphasizes that all behaviors serve as a form of communication. He believes effective communication skills are essential at any age and uses behavioral techniques to assist individuals in managing intense emotions such as anger, fear and sadness. Beyond behavioral intervention, he also provides education in anger management, de-escalation, and parenting.

Outside of his professional work, Gene enjoys activities such as biking, working out in his home gym, traveling, and golfing during his travels. He is often accompanied by his therapy dog, Ollie, with whom he shares a close bond and enjoys walking and playing ball.
